Perfect mood… to one of my most favorite songs and band. I used to row out in the delta at 5 am and would see dawn creep up slowly on the way there, all the while listening to my Sanyo portable tape player with songs such as this one, still in a dreamscape. I really love your gallery.
Liddle Brudder, you are my friend. Thanks for the great commentaries. Yolo County is ripe for ‘dreamscapes’ like the ones you describe. Cheers to portable tape players!
oh man, there was just a david kilgour documentary that played at noisepop last friday! i mean i know he wasn’t in the chills but still, it was awesome it was such a music nerd haven.
also, man i guess it could be anywhere in davis but that totally looks like where F street dead ends in north davis
hey Manatee man…whatup? That spot is actually right by the causeway, on the frontage road facing West. But that F Street dead-end is also a prime spot for eerie/poetic landscapes.
Man, look at you all droppin’ names an shizz.. After a quick wikipedia lookup I see your friend was a member of the Clean. A favorite of mine fo’ sho. Tally HO!
ha, oh yeah i sort of failed to notice that huge stream of cars to the left of the frontage road! and yeah i didnt mean to be all dropping names left and right, but there is nary an outlet for my new zealand music geekdom

Jon, lets get one thing straight. If there’s a place for you to drop names the way I drop most things I hold in my hands, it is right here on P&C. And if you need an outlet for your New Zealand music geekdom, ruminations on life or manatees then you do it right here mister. YOU GOT THAT? Cuz P&C is like everyone’s little Switzerland; no war, free healthcare and little laughing cow cheeses for all.
