it is a hypnotic thing to watch those tape reels spin around in their slow and jagged manner (at least on this computer). And also that olivia tremor control song! is awesome! I just got ultra flash-backed to buying this at amoeba when i was like 17 and being so excited!

man, you were a cool kid at 17. I also find the gear wheels captivating; pretty much the whole tape interface gets me giggly..
i wouldn’t say cool, per se. just like, sufficiently nerdy i guess! also yeah this interface is better than muxtape i think! and it’s like a podcast or a show or whatever but you can skip around! can i make a guest tape sometime? and it will be all from found tapes even!
