POPCAST #557 TREATS THE FOLLOWING: Self-doubt, neuroses and mega-headaches.
NOTE: When I first listened to Popcast #557 I suddenly wanted a tattoo, the bouncy defiance of Yeasayer egging me on. Then I wanted to ride a motorcycle really fast to Pounding: "…seize the time, cuz its now or never baby." Suddenly I got to where I was going and needed to dance-express how I really felt to someone and found Cut Copy to do the trick. Star Guitar got me to my next destination and when it started to rain, Gen Orange provided the perfect soggy soundtrack. I furiously giggled when UB40 came on only to get a nostalgic tug on my heartstrings as I hummed along. Not too long after, A.C Newman brought me to my knees by shooting me straight in the heart with his impassioned rendition of Take On Me. As I lay paralyzed in the sand, the hypnotic sounds of a nearby gypsy camp sailed in and out of my conciousness… Thats kinda how it all went down, when I listened to Popcast #557.
