NOTES ON THE FORMULA OF POPCAST #566: Last Friday a gunman went on a killing spree in Norway. Saturday, Amy Winehouse was found dead in her house. Saturday, my 70+ year old dad got an Ipad and I taught him how to use it. Sunday, I watched a documentary on John Lennon on PBS. Monday, I worked on a watercolor and thought of the past. Tuesday, I worked on my resume and then some more on a watercolor. Wednesday, I made myself a dirty martini and watched a film on a school night. Thursday, I saw a squirrel fall out of an enormous tree and I heard a woman scream when it landed on the picnic table in front of her. Each day, I thought of a particular song. Then I put them all together. This is how Popcast #566 came to be.
