Dear Comrades,
Lets get a little personal. The fact of the matter is, I found myself falling in some old habits lately. Mainly seeing things as black or white; yes or no, this or that. "If I'm doing this, I'm not doing that… If this doesn't work, then its over." I had to stop and remind myself of the forgiving spectrum in between the two extremes. Its  funny to think that such a small oversight can cause such a disruption in the force, but damn it really can. I had quite an 'a-ha' moment yesterday when someone said to me, "You don't have to see everything as black and white. You're an artist; get lost in the colors." (insert awkward silence and a couple of crickets followed by a facepalm, embarrassed red cheeks and an internal 'DUH!') Ahem…  Yes, well I think I'll do just that. And so today I bring you a popcast that really has nothing to do with blacks, nor whites, nor extremes nor any real philosophical themes. They're just some songs I thought had nice hues to them.

1. You Will Always Bring Me Flowers: Shannon & The Clams
2. Smart: Girl In A Coma
3. Loveless: New Order
4. Hallucinex: Stereolab
5. Não Identificado: Gal Costa

7. Heaven: Eleanor Friedberger
8. Light Color: Slowdance
9. Keepin' The Faith (instrumental): De La Soul
10. Don Quichotte: Magazine 60
11. Accident Waiting To Happen: Billy Bragg

Sorry, I’ve been waiting a while to be able to do that.

Silliness aside, what you write is so true. Sending you a big ol’ rainbow, lady.

HA! You totally pulled the D.V.F., nice! ;)

And thanks GZ, rainbow received. It tasted like cotton candy and left a grand, sparkly mess on my floor. Awesome. <3

Thanks for sharing that inspiring anecdote. I, too, need to get lost in the colors, which can happen easily, as I’m a wee bit colorblind.

I hear you can navigate the color field by touch. I think you’ll be fine :)
