Pop! & Circumstance
Popcast #593

Dear readers,

If you’ve ever dreamt of speeding down the open road on two wheels, then this Popcast is for you. Alternately, If you’ve ever dreamt of going fishing in a Soviet motorcycle, then this Popcast is also for you. Either way, I’ve got a mini moto popcast ready for you to plug your helmeted head into (safety first, kids).

Today’s theme is a collaboration between Moto Meeto and P&C, thanks to Meeto organizer Mr. Z! Moto Meeto is the Sacramento area’s premiere monthly vintage motorcycle meet n’ greet which usually includes some lovely ol’ bikes and a bunch of friendly riders and admireres (I’m one of the latter). This past 4th of July I was invited to DJ a set under an Alfa Romeo at Barber’s Automotive. The inspiration for today’s playlist was born that day and now its yours in a tidy, downloadable mp3 sound nugget. Next time I hope to DJ from the back seat of an actual motorcycle. Until then, enjoy some tunes and maybe stop by the next Moto Meeto (this Thursday August 1st at Fox and Goose!). And remember; you don’t gotta ride a motorcycle to enjoy these tunes, you just gotta enjoy rock’ n roll and Amurikah and long mustaches and freedom. Okay?

can you feel the heat?

    Ahoy there madame Kalaisha!

Its lovely to see you here. I will most definitely check out those fine tunes, thank you! Always looking to add to the moto-muz playlist!
What a cool article, thanks for sharing! I absolutely adore these cartoons, especially the Masha & The Bear one. Russian 60s stop motion embodies a kind of comfort and warmth that I just want to wrap myself in. Ah, good stuff. Спасибо! :)
