This week I’m posting songs that astronauts (and cosmonauts) would dig. This first song is the German version of the 80’s super hit Major Tom and the figure in the photo above is none other than first human in space and all around badass cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. He never made it to the new wave era but something tells me he and his astro-cronies would be belting the "oh oh oh ohhh"s of this tune while wearing their spacesuits and drinking molotov cocktails for sure.

As tax day approaches and most everyone I know (including me) is found wasting this beautiful day holed up inside looking for receipts, reviewing W-2’s, 1098-T’s, 1040EZ’s and other sad pieces of junk-paper, I am posting a most wonderful example of people getting together to accomplish great things. Behold the Complaints Choirs of the World. This particular vid features the Helsinki choir whose lyrics are totally awesome. Cuz seriously; I’m sick and tired of people in saunas not asking if its okay to throw water on the stove. WTF, people?  Big ups to Madame Nef who turned me on to this awesome phenomenon.
